For the next week, I cannot accept any payments.
My mother borrowed my debit card to do… something. She still hasn’t told me exactly what she did. But whatever she tried to buy, my card “didn’t go through” and today I get a notice that someone made a $143 charge on my account.
It wasn’t me. It wasn’t her.
My mom basically unknowingly gave my debit card info to a scammer. Now I have frozen my account and I am waiting for a new card that will come in the mail within the week.
